Terms of Service - Folio Zero
Last Updated: April 3, 2026
Welcome to Folio Zero. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Folio Zero search engine and associated infrastructure (the "Service"), operated by Marz Live S.A. de C.V. ("The Company," "We," "Us," or "Our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Nature of the Service and Historical Record Disclaimer
Folio Zero is an automated, read-only search index designed to surface publicly available historical, legal, and government archives. The Company does not author, edit, endorse, or verify the accuracy of the documents indexed within the Service. Folio Zero operates strictly as a neutral technological conduit for surfacing public records.
2. Content Warning and Exemption of Liability
Due to the unredacted and historical nature of the archives indexed (including but not limited to Department of Justice files, court transcripts, and investigative records), the Service may surface material that is graphic, sensitive, offensive, or controversial.
You acknowledge that you access and view these records entirely at your own risk.
The Company bears no legal liability for any claims of defamation, emotional distress, or damages arising from the contents of the historical documents surfaced by our search algorithms. We are not making allegations; we are indexing historical files.
3. Acceptable Use and Anti-Scraping Policy
Folio Zero utilizes intensive, proprietary vector search architecture. To ensure platform stability, users are strictly prohibited from:
- Using automated bots, spiders, or scrapers to bulk-download documents or extract search results.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer the vector embedding models or indexing architecture.
- Launching Denial of Service (DoS) attacks or intentionally submitting high-frequency queries designed to overload the server infrastructure.
Any violation of this clause will result in immediate IP banning and potential legal action.
4. Intellectual Property
While the historical documents and archives themselves remain in the public domain or under the copyright of their respective original authors, the proprietary search algorithms, user interface, database schemas, and the "Folio Zero" brand are the exclusive property of Marz Live S.A. de C.V.
5. Jurisdiction and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States. Any legal disputes arising from the use of Folio Zero shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
